The Black and White House
Racism,Terrorism two words that were to remain planted on each and every generation. My book opens at a time Racism has almost been eradicated save but for the odd outbreak, and Terrorism rears its ugly head.
Joshua Jenks a young coloured boy was born into poverty until his folks landed employment with a local rich white family who had a daughter the same age as Joshua. The Mcleods had inherited a scottish whisky distillery and were well known by the local white community around Memphis. Joshua became the son Sam Mcleod had always wanted so when the vacant position of Senator came along Sam suggested Joshua applied, much to Joshua’s surprise!.
Against all odds Joshua Jenks becomes Senator for Memphis and as he enters the Senate the first person to confront him was a racist in the form of Senator Whitney.
Within his duties Joshua is taken on a rollercoaster of on the edge suspense and intrigue as he confronts the reality that terrorism is making its mark on the world.Although short in today’s climate I feel this book has possibilities to gain a lot of interest?.
