On the morning of October 08 2015, Alpha Intercontinental Flight AHA 113 was approaching Cape Town International Airport at 09:15 in the morning. It had originally departed New York the previous night on schedule. From New York it traveled to Dubai and after its regular stop for refueling and fresh catering etc, it departed Dubai and fourteen hours later, approaching Cape Town and due to touchdown in the next ten minutes, simply vanished from both visual sight and radar. It was not the only disappearance of aircraft in the surrounding space.
But, it is the one I know about.
Flight AHA 113 was never seen or heard from again, despite extensive rescue efforts mounted. No wreckage was ever found, no traces of luggage were ever seen. It was as if Flight AHA 113 had simply never existed.
But … Flight AHA 113 had existed. It did in fact crash into the sea, close enough to land that while 237 passengers perished either as a result of the crash itself or trying to make it to shore, 28 survivors eventually made it to safety.

The God Process is a Memoir where the reader gets to discover again why faith matters. In the mystery of our soul we find our hope, our miracles and the why we pray.
The God Process spans four generations and Ethereal messages… Angels, premonitions, near death, the answers to prayer and in this Whisper that speaks. When we stop, look back, look in and look up, the Whisper comes. The desires of our heart become grounded in our prayers and it is here that we see this movement of God in all our lives. In the depths of our soul comes the why we are here and what it is that God is trying to do.
Although I am Christian and I see my life lessons from my faith, The God Process is inspiring to all readers.

Called a book for all ages, Green Kitty was written for children ages 8 to 12 to help explain Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and is both entertaining and educational. It was a finalist for both USA Book News “Best Books 2011” and “International Book of the Year 2012” in children’s fiction, and is filled with true, laugh-out-loud animal antics. Green Kitty will please any child who loves their pets and parents will enjoy reading it out loud to younger children.
It is a series of stories within a story with a grandmother that recalls old anecdotes, mostly about family pets, for a visiting grandchild. The grandmother has recently been placed into assisted living due to her dementia and their bond grows stronger through the visits despite the illness. Helpful information about Alzheimer’s disease is deftly woven into the work.
Green Kitty will capture the imagination of both boys and girls. Overall the books shows what true family love is all about.
From the moment Alana met him, she knew her life would never be the same. For the universe never allows a dream to go unanswered, but remember be careful what you wish for. You might just get more than you expect.
This is my second book called “All those Tears we can’t see” which addresses a lot of topics – immigration, opportunity, spirituality, myth, wisdom, class, customs, poverty, corruption and physical assault in India. It is a story of India and USA. The book displays these two countries under microscope so that we can see clearly the differences between beliefs and way of life in each country and began to understand the challenges immigrants face. It was difficult and traumatic for Samantha (The immigrant in my book) to leave everything behind and start a new life where the language, culture, traditions, morals, beliefs and everyday way of life are totally foreign. To assimilate into a new country while still retaining one’s culture and beliefs, as Samantha puts it that it is her destiny to come to this wonderful country to serve her even though it is not her country.
“All Those Tears We Can’t See” is also a story of a first generation Indian-American girl and how she figures out her life and finds out that she has love for both sides of her cultures. We follow Monica, who believes that she is all American at heart, even though both her parents are Indian. Although she loves both her parents and respects their beliefs and their customs wholeheartedly, there is a cultural gap that seems to never fill. Samantha and Monica both like the Spirituality, wisdom, music, dance, cousin and ancient culture in India but do not like many customs like dowry system, corruption in all level, poverty and marriage system. When English left India many families still followed the English culture in their household. Now the modern India brought many technologies to enhance middle classes wealthy life. The fragile and loving relationship between daughter and mother broken over interracial relationship with an American boy named Brandon because her mother feared that her Bengali culture will be lost. To understand her mother better Monica now a journalist undertook a remarkable journey to India from her job assignment in finding out about her mother’s root that resists all American value and culture. In India, Monica, thought she had found her own identity as an American, as she describes it “she is all American in heart” but she was partially wrong. She fell in love and felt attachment, and was fascinated by Indian people and their spirituality. Later when she faced physical assault (based on 2012 gang physical assaults in Delhi, India) everything went upside down for the whole family and Samantha chooses the ultimate justice for her daughter. What will happen now? Can Monica go back to America and share her new found love with her mother and Brandon? Will she even get the chance?
With all those tragedies there was a silver lining in this book when Samantha realizes that love between two people had no boundaries. She made a big mistake by pushing her daughter to think like her eastern belief but Monica has grown up with western belief and morals. Would Samantha embraces and accepts Brandon who was Christian as her own family by breaking her predefined set of value about race and religion?

Today, after 150 years of wandering and touching the lives of others, he is finally coming back to claim his family mansion which has stood empty for decades. But unknown to Nathaniel, his homecoming will not be as lonely as he anticipates. For someone has been waiting all this time to welcome him back.

Infinite Possibilities – A Spiritual Awakening is Bill Geringswald’s attempt to put our beautiful world back on track. Bill Geringswald’s chief role in life has been to identify issues in companies and put them right. With this book, he puts that experience, knowledge and skills to work for the world.
We all know that this world needs fixing. However, there’s a distinct lack of blueprints for us to follow. But, when you put Bill Geringswald’s business experience to work on the world’s issues, Infinite Possibilities – A Spiritual Awakening is what you get.
He poses that well-known theory, that we have the tendency to do the same things over and over again, but expect different results and realises how insane this notion is. In Infinite Possibilities – A Spiritual Awakening Bill Geringswald’s covers four areas:
Foundations – Life Passages: In human terms, we need to understand the world we experience has been created by man’s free will. Today’s events serve as a ‘push-back’ to our collective consciousness. We can reverse it anytime we choose.
Inner Workings – Generational Slide: Every day our perceptions and decisions based upon them bring about the lifestyle we experience. What we empower in the world, we become.
Infrastructure – A Kaleidoscope: Everything we experience acts as a guiding message from God. When following God’s guidance, all is possible. Here, I’ll provide a plan of action for our nation’s future.
Choices—Empowering Prosperity: Each one of us can choose to focus on specific events to happen in our lives. Our choices draw people and situations into our lives. When in God’s will the extraordinary becomes ordinary.
Buy this book if you want humanity to get back on track.

Which line stood out from all the others in the book?
“He once confided in me that he would prefer to die standing up.” The reason for this, he was told, was “So the world would know that I managed to stay busy on my last day… or that I died trying.” In the end, Percy Miller got his wish.
The book The Plainview Lottery by Markas Dvaras is an interesting read. I found this book very reminiscent of a young adult novel I read many years ago called The Wish Giver by Bill Britain. In both stories, the authors are trying to teach the reader a lesson on human behavior. Each time the easiest route turns out to be the one of most peril. The book starts off with the introduction of mysterious strangers to a nearly perfect town. The strangers introduce a new concept, the lottery. The lottery slowly wheedles its way into everyone’s lives and brings the town to its knees creating litter, layoffs, and laziness. The town never discovers the origin of the strangers or how they were able to do what they did in the time period given. As predicted with any lottery, no one wins the enormous pile of gold and overnight the men and gold disappear. The town slowly returns to normal with a greater appreciation of what they had. The connections between the last two chapters or short stories mostly point out and reinforce those lessons that were learned and that the reader may have missed. I did find that Dvaras’ overuse of the verb ‘was’ weakened his prose just a bit. This story took a hard look at society as a whole and how “we are the generation that would rather just sit there.”
-International Review of Books
How Could a Lottery be a Mistake?
Welcome to Plainview– a town with everything going for it, and with none of the problems one would expect to see in a typical American town. No poverty, no homelessness, no unemployment– not even a litter problem.
But all that changes when five mysterious strangers show up in the town square one day, pulling a wagon-load of gold bars behind them. They’re going to run a lottery for Plainview, with the gold as the grand prize. With little discussion, Plainview readily agrees– and that’s the first in a series of hilarious mistakes.
Is the Lottery a Scam?
Now meet James Henderson– he’s an award-winning journalist for Plainview’s local paper, The Plainview Review. He suspects they are being swindled after he notices there are no winning numbers being drawn. Yet the residents of Plainview are becoming obsessed, and soon start losing their jobs while focusing on the gold bars.
Can James prove anything for his article? Can he stop his hometown from succumbing to “Lottery Fever?” Does it even matter?
A satire on economics and the human condition, The Plainview Lottery will have you rethinking how money is supposed to work.
ROCK IS DEAD THEY SAY. . . VOL. I explores rock ‘n’ roll’s history, with a focus on rock’s early ’90’s “last wave” as the National Soundtrack, before becoming the B-side to Hip Hop. Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Joey Kramer (Aerosmith), Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), and Kosmo Vinyl (the Clash’s major-domo and occasional manager) bare their rockin’ souls in never-before-published COMPLETE interviews, spurred on by the probing questions of writer Mark Barsotti, ex-music critic for Denver’s Westword, whose work also appeared in Musician, D.J. Times, Request, Livewire, Syracuse New Times, Bad News and New Times (Miami).
Highlights from the original stories intro the long form interviews, which are followed by a “Re-Listenability Index” and the writer’s current take, two decades into the 21st Century.
Barsotti’s passionate, sometimes outrageous opinions also crackle through features on AC/DC, censorship, the ’60’s vs. the ’80’s, loads of album reviews, rock’s greatest movies, and his unique take on the past and future of rock ‘n’ roll. . . if – facing the coming Great Die-Off of the ’20’s – it still has one.
But hey. . . What can a poor boy do but TURN IT UP!
“Every party plate of cocaine strapped to a midget’s head cost 10,000 days of dogged, road warrior work, as bands schlepped to gigs in overcrowded vans with no ac but plenty of beer farts and insane drummers explaining that Jackie killed JFK (or maybe it was the Masons). Rockers worked their asses of, wooing their muse and chasing the dream, even if precious few ever rose to penthouse cocaine-midget status. So who better to tell the story than the musicians themselves?”
– from ROCK IS DEAD THEY SAY. . . VOL. 1
