Gryndean village is hidden from the world by a protection spell, keeping the inhabitants safe from harm. Alesia, the Alpha of the wolf pack, is with cub and soon to give birth. However, in the past, her births haven’t gone well, and this one is no exception.
Meyrick is born, a son, but not all is as it seems. He appears mundane—a human—and once he reaches his late teens, he will have to leave the village. Only wolves can remain when they reach adulthood.
But when Meyrick is seven, something happens—something wonderful and miraculous as well as frightening and downright evil—and Meyrick finds there is more to him than even he thought. With hunters on his trail, to rid the realm of a mundane such as him and to find the hidden, enchanted seal given to him by an angel upon his birth—a seal Meyrick is unware of. Meyrick must prove he is worthy to fight them off. There is help from The Ice Wizard—a young-looking but ancient being—and all the villagers as well as Meyrick’s dearest friend Marcus, little Cloe, and a surprising offer of solidarity from one of his foes, Nolan.
Will they defeat the hunters? Will the villagers accept the new Meyrick? But most of all, will Meyrick accept himself when he finds out what and who he truly is?
I lived in Seville, Ohio in a haunted house for 9 years. I could hear voices talking when I was the only one in the house. Things would move, get replaced, doors open on their own. One night I got home and walked in my kitchen to see all my cabinet doors wide open. and drawers pulled out. The TV would come on by itself, and I had candles in my bedroom that were lit on their own. At this point I needed answers, so I bought a digital recorder, and had learned about EVP from watching paranormal ghost hunting shows. I was ready to try, after a few try’s I would catch a voice that was intelligent and would answer my questions back. “Whats your name? When did you die? How many spirits are in this house? The spirit answered very clearly , “My name is Jimmy, and there are 5 spirits in this house.” They were friendly, and informed me of a natural energy field in my back yard. This would draw spirits from all over to come juice up in my yard. I wanted to know more so I took my recorder out in my yard and started asking questions, it was then I would get more answers, this was a whole new world. I wanted to find out what really happens when we die and what the other side was about. So I asked, there were so many spirits to talk to , I would ask them to come into my house. It was then I got the idea for a book, it would be called “A Guest in My House”. Because I had asked them as a guest in my house. So this is a little of my story about how my book “A Guest in My House” was written, all from true experiences of mine and the house that I lived in.
